Hi everyone,

We are now heading out of Easter and into Pentecost and the celebration of the coming of the Holy Spirit. This is a momentous occasion in the life of the church and I would encourage you all to begin praying now for God to move in our church on that day and fill us afresh with His spirit. The date for Pentecost is the 19th of May and it would be awesome to have as many of you in church as possible so please mark your calendars.

We have now had all our church annual meetings and are heading off into another year of fun and excitement, with reordering projects looking to move ahead and many other events and activities planned.

Thanks again to Meg for sharing her reflections with us last Sunday. This we will be building on all that we have learned so far to explore what community looks like when love is you primary motivation and goal.

Just a reminder that we have no morning prayer in High Littleton this week as we have our Farrington family service at 9am on Thursday morning

Also, you may see a new face around for the next month. We will have Lindsay, a trainee minister but with lots of church experience, joining our services and other activities as she completes her student placement.

The Church of England have updated their Morning Prayer APP.  You can now listen to morning prayer from the app. I would encourage you all to take this up as a daily practice, it is a great way to grow a pattern of prayer and learn the rhythm of responses each day.

You can download the app here: https://www.chpublishing.co.uk/apps/daily-prayer
